Ant McPartlin's ex, Lisa Armstrong, is reportedly seeking full custody of their beloved Labrador, Hurley, as Ant adjusts to fatherhood with his new wife, Anne-Marie.
Lisa, a renowned makeup artist, and the Britain's Got Talent co-host welcomed Hurley into their lives during their relationship. However, following their split in 2018 after 11 years of marriage, they decided on a shared custody arrangement for Hurley, reports the Daily Star.
Currently, Hurley splits his time between Lisa's home and Ant and Anne-Marie's, who recently welcomed their baby boy, Wilder. According to The Sun, Lisa now wants full-time custody of Hurley, who has been her "lifeline".
A source said: "She really had to fight Ant for him, which she still is annoyed about as he got other dogs with Anne-Marie and now she would just like Hurley to live with her full-time.
"Ant obviously loves Hurley as well but he now has a lot of other responsibilities and things going on in his life and Lisa can't see why she can't have full custody of him."
The source also added that Hurley has been a great comfort to Lisa during her split from the TV star, who married his former assistant Anne-Marie in 2021. "He's more than just a dog to her and has been a lifeline at times," they said.
OK! has contacted representatives for both Ant and Lisa for comment.
Lisa often posts pictures of Hurley on social media, affectionately referring to him as "#MamasBabyBoy". She even had a Christmas card made featuring his adorable face last year.
Ant and Anne-Marie welcomed their baby boy, Wilder, on May 14. The couple's birth announcement featured a heartwarming photo of Ant cradling their newborn son.
In the picture, Ant is shirtless, revealing an elaborate family tree tattoo on his shoulder.
The tattoo features name panels intertwined within the branches, each bearing the names of loved ones. One panel reads "Amzie", which fans believe is a pet name for Ant's wife, while the names "Daisy" and "Poppy" - Anne-Marie's daughters from a previous relationship - are also visible.
Panels dedicated to Bumble and Milo, the couple's beloved dogs, can also be seen.
