It’s hard to believe that its now officially six years since ITV sitcom Benidorm last graced our screens, with the irreverent comedy series having swiftly captured the hearts of the nation during its eleven year run. Throughout the series, fans at home were greeted by an unforgettable cast of famous faces as they brought to life a series of eccentric characters in the sun soaked holiday destination.
Among those stars, were acting heavyweights such as Coronation Street's Tony Maudsley, Comedy genius Johnny Vegas, Happy Valley star Siobhan Finneran, and even Loose Women’ s very own Denise Welch. However they were also joined by a younger selection of stars too, including relative newcomer at the time, Julian Moore-Cook.
Julian first joined the show as cheeky new arrival Callum in the show’s tenth series, when his character first arrived at the Solana Hotel with show favourite Joey Ellis - played by Nathan Bryon.
For the two series that aired immediately prior to this, regular viewers may recall Joey had been away from our screens on holiday with his pal Tiger Dyke, played by EastEnders icon Danny Walters.
Yet following Danny’s decision to leave the show, there were some pretty big shoes left to fill for Julian - and he didn’t disappoint. In fact during his time on the show, Callum swiftly cemented himself as a firm fan favourite with many fans wondering what exactly happened to Julian after the show finished.
Six years on since his exit from the show, Julian looks worlds away from his former self, with the actor having undergone a major glow-up. Taking to social media to showcase glimpses of his life, the handsome actor sent pulses racing when he shared a photo of his trim figure complete with defined abs as he enjoyed a spot of sailing.
A number of other shots of the star’s life also offered an insight into how much he’s changed over the years, including a number of recent red carpet photos that saw him dressed to impress.
In addition to a physical transformation, Julian has also experienced a professional glow-up too, with a whole wealth of new roles having come his way since his Benidorm days. In fact, since leaving the show he’s appeared in everything from Doctors and Holby City to Derry Girls and Peaky Blinders.
Most recently however, Julian has been wowing audiences in Amazon series The Peripherals, where he plays series regular Ossian. In addition to his TV roles, Julian is also an accomplished stage actor, and has even appeared in big budget Hollywood films such as Mission Impossible 5.
