Britain's Got Talent was hit with a wave of complaints as it aired another round of auditions.
During an edition of the show that aired at the end of April, viewers were offered a real mix of performances, from Batman belting out opera to Simon Cowell's dogs joining in a keyboard act.
However, despite the entertaining line-up, viewers at home all shared the same gripe. They were shocked by the volume of the audience on the ITV programme.
Some claimed they couldn't even hear the acts over the sound of the cheering from the seats behind judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.
It wasn't the only complaint about this series – as viewers were also furious when Amanda Holden pressed her Golden Buzzer for a 'terrible' act.
One viewer vented on X, previously known as Twitter: "What a crock of televisual s**** that is # BGT. Every act seemingly applauded till people's hands are falling off. Sound production SO bad that the cheering audience drowns out the acts.."
Another said: "Don't want to hear or see the audience till the act has finished. I'm hard of hearing and all i can hear is shouting #BGT," reports Birmingham Live.
A third remarked: "The audience cheering is out of sync with their bemused faces looking like Wtf is going on.... #bgt."
"Have they added extra audience sounds to this? ? ? Cause some sounds sound soooooo fake," another viewer questioned, while another noted: "This audience literally goes wild for anything. It cracks me up."
A fan of Britain's Got Talent took to the show's official Instagram page to express their concern, saying: "I love BGT but wow, the audience is loud. I don't know if this year it's done on purpose or if there was a problem with the sound execution but we can barely hear the acts. The beatboxers I couldnt hear a single thing which is a bummer since I love beatboxing acts."
Meanwhile, host Declan Donnelly shared his thoughts about the show, revealing: "One of the joys of doing Britain's Got Talent is that you never quite know what's coming next, and that's why we love doing it."
"Even in our 17th series, we have had stuff that we've never seen before. We've certainly not had an extreme pogo stick act before, alongside several other acts that are still surprising us after all these years."
Earlier this month, OK! went on an exclusive house tour with BGT legend, impressionist Francine Lewis – she even showed off a few of her legendary impressions.
