Alison Hammond is "feeling emotional" after moving into her 'dream house' as she showed off her sprawling garden.
The TV star, 49, took to Instagram on Tuesday, 12 March to share a video of her luxurious garden in her new pad with a heartfelt caption. As the camera panned across the stylish garden, Alison wrote: "Feeling very emotional knowing that without all your support and love I wouldn't be looking at this view."
She continued: "This is my new garden I would draw as a child but never dreamed it would be a reality. Thank you."
She then heartbreakingly added: "Wish mum was here to see it". Alison's mum passed away in 2020 after a battle with liver and lung cancer.
Alison, who presents This Morning alongside Dermot O'Leary, took the video from above, as the rain poured down. A huge wooden canopy could be seen on the right-hand side of the patio with furniture underneath.
Nearby a a cream basket seat was placed in the corner of the sprawling tiled patio with views of the house and lush garden. As the camera panned further, steps could be seen down to the fresh-cut grass from the patio and a small wooden brown fence outlining the property at the back.
In the distance, a path could be spotted leading from the brown fence into further greenery and lines of huge trees. Alison appeared to take in the special moment as she filmed her garden and thanked everyone for their support.
Providing a closer glimpse inside her pad, Alison sat down in her lavish living room to watch her pal Dermot on TV. Taking a video of This Morning, Alison told her followers: "Awh Dermot's on the telly today, I'm like a little fan ain't I - I'm like the Dermot fan."
The video showed off her living room with a white-fitted cabinet with silver ornaments on display, including candle stick holders and what looked to be an award. Her flat-screen TV was placed above and a sweet canvas photo was hung of her close pals.
The room boasted a plush grey carpet, white walls and a mirrored cabinet, which could be spotted to the side of the TV unit. Towards the end of the video, Alison could be heard giggling as she supported her close pal Dermot.
The new move comes after it was reported in May last year that Alison had put her £700,000 Birmingham home on the market, the same day that Phillip Schofield quit This Morning. At the time it was also thought that Alison put her pad on the market in a bid to move closer to London as her presenting duties on This Morning increased.
A source told The Sun: "The timings are entirely coincidental but are, perhaps, telling. Alison loves that house but wants a fresh start. She’s incredibly in demand.
"It’s looking highly likely she will be asked to do more days a week on This Morning — and therefore she will be spending more time in London."
