David Potts couldn't contain his excitement as he was announced as the winner of Celebrity Big Brother during Friday night's live final, 22 March.
But this isn't his first stint on TV as the 30-year-old first rose to fame on Ibiza Weekender in 2016 and later its successor Kavos Weekender – which follows contestants in their twenties as they spend time at a Greek hotel resort.
However it's now been reported that the TV personality could be cashing in what's likely to be his biggest earner yet with a six-figure deal after coming out on top during the finale.
David beat fellow finalists Nikita Kuzmin, Colson Smith, Louis Walsh and Fern Britton, but there was no hard feelings as they celebrated the end of the series with a boozy wrap party afterwards.
When David entered the CBB house, he told viewers how he was "large, in charge, taking over, and ready for it" and fans loved it - so much so, that he went on to win.
But the star's actual rise to fame comes from starring in a slew of reality shows, including Celebs Go Dating, Celebs on the Farm, Celebrity Karaoke Trip and Celebrity Ghost Trip.
It all started when David, who was born and raised in Bolton, started working as a holiday rep in Ibiza and Magaluf in his early twenties.
It was then in 2016 that he was scouted by TV producers for the show Ibiza Weekender and joined in the fifth series. Viewers loved him and he remained on the show until it ended in 2020.
David then began to make appearances on other shows during this time and made a name for himself as a popular TV star.
David appeared on Celebs On The Farm where he finished as runner up to former footballer Paul Merson.
Continuing to carve out his career in the spotlight, last year David returned to his roots by joining the cast of Kavos Weekender as Head Rep. It was his most recent stint on TV ahead of being announced in the CBB line-up.
It comes as reports have emerged that David's CBB win will earn him some big money.
Speaking to The Sun, celebrity PR Ed Hopkins suggested a lucrative deal will likely head David's way now. She told the publication: "I’m confident he will be signing six-figure deals in the coming months."
Hopkins asserted. "I’m sure projects are already signed and agreed, and if he works hard, there’s no reason why he couldn’t earn a million in the next two years. ITV will look after him."
She also detailed how the win could mean he steers away from reality TV and towards opportunities on radio shows or even presenting cameos on red carpets.
In the months leading up to David's iconic entrance into the Big Brother house, the TV star shared his fitness journey on Instagram.
David first went public with his health and fitness journey back in 2020 in a bid overhaul his lifestyle. He revealed that was working with a personal trainer in order to achieve and maintain a healthier lifestyle.
