Emmerdale's Emile John, who plays Ethan Anderson, has undergone a dramatic body transformation in recent years after undergoing an impressive fitness regime in recent years.

Known for playing Ethan on the popular ITV soap, Emile's character has found himself at the centre of a dramatic storyline as of late after being involved in a shock car accident alongside Nicky. After seeing a police car ahead, and worrying that he would be caught driving over the limit, Ethan changes direction, though his decision results in him losing control of the car.

Luckily, 27 year old Emile's real life is a lot less dramatic and the star has gained attention recently after showing off his impressive body transformation, with the actor using previous Covid-19 lockdowns to get into fantastic shape, reports the Daily Star.

The dashing actor seems to have taken the first lockdown as a cue to kickstart his fitness regime, and the results are nothing short of impressive.

Back in April 2021, Emile appeared on ITV's Lorraine and shared details about his fitness transformation with the television legend. To hit his body goals, he revealed that he decided to take his workout routine "seriously" and enlisted the expertise of a personal trainer. His intense new fitness plan included a mix of weightlifting and running.

Lorraine couldn't hide her admiration for Emile's chiselled physique, exclaiming: "Also young man you have been working out." As viewers were treated to before and after images, she couldn't help but enthuse: "Look at the difference there. Rather lovely."

A smiling Emile responded: "That was back in lockdown one. I just thought I'd focus on my fitness since there is nothing else to do, so why not get into shape. I really took it seriously and I started running and lifting more weights."

He added: "I'd been working out with a friend who is a PT. Being on TV you need to look good and be prepared."
