The lives of Eurovision hosts are often seen as glamorous and enviable, but behind the glitz and excitement on the stage, many have experienced their fair share of ups and downs in their personal relationships.
From shocking splits to fuming exes and enduring relationships, these hosts have experienced it all. Join us as we uncover the highs and lows of their romantic journeys, from heartbreak to newfound love and everything in between.
Rylan Clark
At 34 years old, Rylan Clark found himself navigating the tumultuous waters of a breakup in 2021, ending a six-year marriage to Dan Neal after disclosing past infidelity that had occurred "years ago."
This admission proved to be the catalyst for the dissolution of their relationship, prompting Dan, a former police officer, to make the difficult decision to part ways.
Despite efforts to reconcile, their attempts at salvaging their marriage were short-lived, with Dan departing once again after a mere two weeks. The aftermath of the breakup took a heavy toll on the presenter, leading to a period of profound illness and complete loss of appetite.
Taking a hiatus from his BBC Radio 2 show, the presenter found himself grappling with "dangerous" thoughts, culminating in a hospitalisation last January.
Reflecting on this challenging period, he revealed that both the strain of his personal life and the relentless pace of his nine-year-long career had contributed to his mental health struggles.
Graham Norton
Graham Norton married filmmaker Jonathan 'Jono' McLeod in July 2022 in a quiet ceremony attended by around 120 guests, with Lulu performing.
Before finding happiness with Jono, Graham detailed his past relationships in his memoir, including his romance with Drag Race star Tina Burner. According to Graham's memoir, the pair ended things after a few months. However, they later decided to reconcile when Tina moved into Graham’s home in London, which "lasted for about six months" and was a "disaster".
Graham said: "I realise that even to a perfect stranger the outcome would have been glaringly obvious, but when you are in the middle of something and you are desperate for it to work, you’ll try anything."
Graham also dated Trevor Patterson but the relationship ended bitterly in 2013 when Trevor, who was 20 years younger than the TV host, said Graham often put his dogs before him.
He said: "Frankly, he’d do anything for those animals. They mean the world to him and were always his first love . . . in some ways he put them before me."
Scott Mills
Scott Mills and his fiance, Sam Vaughan, have been happily together since 2016, when they first met at a radio event in Wales. Initially, they endured a long-distance relationship, commuting between London and Wales.
"The more time we spent together, the more I could see we were right for each other. I just needed him to see that too," he recalled to The Times.
"So when we had the conversation about taking it forward and he said 'I'm not ready', I was devastated."
"Being friends with someone you're in love with doesn't work," he agonised, admitting: "We didn't speak for six months."
However, they eventually decided to take the plunge and moved in together just three months before the first Covid lockdown. In 2021, they announced their engagement, with Scott sharing the exciting news on social media. They're set to marry this summer.
Richie Anderson
For nearly ten years, Richie Anderson has been in a relationship with his partner, Dean Eagles. While they keep their romance relatively private, Richie occasionally shares updates about their relationship on social media.
Recently, the couple celebrated their milestone ten-year anniversary with a romantic trip to Italy, which Richie documented on social media. Despite their long-term commitment, Richie has not publicly disclosed if they have tied the knot.
