King Charles is reportedly quite fond of spending quality time with Zara and Mike Tindall's three children.
The King is a doting grandfather to five – not only Zara and Mike's kids, Mia, Lena and Lucas, but also Kate Middleton and Prince William's trio – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Yet sadly the King has had limited interaction with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's offspring, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as they reside in the US – over 5,000 miles away from their Royal relatives in the UK.
As a result, Mia, Lena, and Lucas seem to spend more time with the King than Harry's children. Let's take a closer look at them....
Mia Tindall
Mia Grace Tindall, the eldest child of Zara and Mike Tindall, was born in January 2014 at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Living with her parents and two younger siblings, Mia resides at Gatcombe Park, which is a short distance from the King's home, Highgrove House.
Mia is currently 22nd in line to the Royal throne, the spot directly behind her mother. Like Zara, Mia and her two siblings don't have royal titles.
Tweeting about the arrival of his daughter Mia in 2014, an elated Mike couldn't contain his joy: "Thanks so much for all your kind messages. Definitely the best day of my life today, so happy.! The girls are both doing great!"
Mike opened up about how their firstborn was a beacon of hope during a tough period before the birth of their second child, Lena. In a heartfelt interview with The Sunday Times in 2017, he shared: "The saving grace for us has been Mia, our daughter who is now three.
"However down we feel, she will come running up in our faces. When I was playing, I hardly saw her; now we can see her grow up. I can take her swimming, and I can take her to Ninja Tots. You'll never be able to see her there because she disappears in a puff of smoke."
Lena Tindall
Lena Elizabeth Tindall, the younger sister to Mia, made her entrance into the world in June 2018, just a couple of months after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed Prince Louis.
Currently 23rd in line to the throne, five year old Lena's middle name honours her late great-grandmother, while her parents simply fell in love with her unique first name.
Upon Lena's arrival, Buckingham Palace announced with joy: '"Mrs. Michael Tindall was safely delivered of a baby girl on June 18. Mr. Tindall was present at the birth. The weight of the baby was 9lbs 3oz."
Like Mia, Lena is often spotted at public events with her family, especially during the annual Easter Sunday services and Christmas celebrations at Sandringham.
Lucas Tindall
The youngest of Zara and Mike Tindall's brood, Lucas Philip Tindall, shares a special connection through his middle name to both his great-grandfather, Prince Philip, and Mike's father.
Unlike his sisters, who were born in a hospital, Lucas made quite the entrance into the world, arriving in the bathroom of the family home in Gloucestershire. reportedly quite fond of spending quality time.
Mike Tindall shared the exciting news on his podcast, The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, exclaiming: "A little baby boy arrived at my house! " Although not often in the limelight like his sisters, Lucas has been seen at events such as his mother Zara's equestrian competitions in August 2023.
