Former Love Island star Malin Andersson looked nothing short of sensational as she showed off her six stone weight loss on Instagram.

The reality TV star - who has always looked incredible and shot to fame on ITV's dating show back on season two - wowed fans when she debuted her transformation and revealed how she achieved it.

Malin, 31, explained that she's been exercising regularly and eating healthily, and said: "Embarking on a fitness journey and wellness journey has allowed me to feel better within myself and healthier."

However, in the midst of her post, Malin also asked her fans if her body "triggered" them after revealing that she's lost 30,000 followers.

She said: "Does my body trigger you? I'm asking you guys this because over the last two years I've lost about six stone and I've done it in a really healthy way but it's also a by-product of healing all my emotional and physical trauma that I've endured in my life.

"I don't need to explain myself to you guys but I feel like part of me should because I've lost 30,000 followers on Instagram due to my body weight decreasing."

Malin then signed off the post: "Because I'm not being funny, I don't care that I've lost weight, I don't care how I look like. I care that I feel amazing, I feel f****** amazing and that's what healing looks like baby."

In the past few years the star has faced immense heartache, including losing her beloved mother, Consy, to cancer in 2017. Then in 2019, her month-old daughter, named after her mum, passed after being born seven weeks prematurely.

Fast-forward to 2021 and Malin thought she’d found her happy ever with new partner Jared, with whom she co-parents Xaya. But it wasn’t to be and the couple split five weeks after their daughter’s arrival.

But no matter what, Malin insists it’s Xaya who has given her renewed purpose after battling the “lowest points” in her life.
Describing motherhood as “hard but so rewarding”, she breaks into a big smile every time her daughter crops up in conversation.

She said: "Xaya is so funny and cheeky – she’s very switched on. Being a mum is so rewarding. It’s a love like no other. Before, I felt like I was walking through life with no purpose. Now, Xaya has given me a reason to wake up in the morning. She makes me want to push myself and has completely given my life meaning again.”
