Ronan Keating's son Jack has finally shared the truth about whether he knew he was going to become a dad before appearing on Love Island.

The 25-year-old was a bombshell in Casa Amor in the 2022 series of the ITV2 show.

While looking for love on the reality series, Jack flirted with the likes of Gemma Owen, while his ex-girlfriend was pregnant on the outside.

Jack has now revealed that he had no idea that his ex, Keely Iqbal, was expecting before he became a contestant.

The son of Boyzone star Ronan, insists that the news came as a complete shock and he was "terrified" to become a dad.

However he said the support and knowledge passed onto him from his "hero" dad has allowed him to grow and become the man he is today.

The Daily Mail revealed, Jack said: "As soon as I came off Love Island, seven months later, I became a dad. No, I didn't know before going on the show.

"Adjusting to life after Love Island was hard enough but then I had to deal with being a father… But it has been the most amazing year and a half of my entire life. Maya turned one in February… She melts my heart every time I see her.

"I remember when I posted the Instagram photo, I was so nervous. I didn't actually want to press the button. It blew up."
