Molly Mae Hague opted to stay silent on her brother-in-law-to-be Tyson Fury's fight with Oleksandr Usyk, as she and Tommy Fury are plagued by 'split rumours'.
In October last year, Molly Mae was sat ringside to support fiancé Tommy Fury as he took on a fight with YouTuber KSI. But as Tommy flew out to Saudi Arabia to support Tyson during his historic clash with Usyk, which saw Fury stripped of his heavyweight champion title, Molly opted to skip the family event.
Instead, the social media star chose not to comment on the clash, as she spent her weekend throwing a hen do in Ibiza for her sister Zoe Hague. Molly and Tommy, who met on Love Island in 2019 and share daughter Bambi, have sparked split rumours amongst their fans in recent weeks.
The tanning brand owner's lack of interaction on Tommy's social media post about Tyson's big fight caused one follower to say: "There's something going on here with him and Molly-Mae and I don't like it one bit." Another worried fan commented: "Guys, I feel like they have broken up. Something bad seems to have happened and I can just feel it."
Molly also jetted off to Dubai on May 11th without her fiancé, with the boxer noticeably absent when she shared posts from the Atlantis, The Royal hotel, where an apartment costs around £2,000 per night.
Fans also wondered why Molly recently skipped wishing her other half a happy 25th birthday on social media or publicly acknowledging his special day.
One fan noted: "Just now noticing that Tommy’s birthday was on May the 7th and it’s been radio silence from Molly on her socials… him too for that matter. Idk if I’m reading into it or what but usually she goes all out for his birthday."
But as Molly posted a picture on Instagram as she partied in Ibiza with her sister, she appeared to put the split rumours to bed as she flashed her huge engagement ring.
A source has claimed to OK! that Molly-Mae and Tommy are feeling the pressure but still love each other and remain determined to work things out. “There is always immense pressure on Molly and Tommy as public figures and Molly knows there are people out there who don’t like a Love Island success story,” the source told us.
The source added: “Going their separate ways is the last thing they want. She and Tommy love each other and adore Bambi, but like other couples, they have their ups and downs and want to get through it together as a family.”
