Shoppers are going wild for Ninja's latest space-saving air fryer, which has been hailed as a “game changer” by happy customers. The gadget giant, known for its popular air fryers, has released a world-first today - the Ninja Double Stack XL 9.5L Air Fryer SL400UK, £269.99 here.
This innovative appliance launched in the UK on Wednesday, 17 April after an unprecedented pre-order demand, with thousands of shoppers already snapping it up from Ninja direct and other retailers like John Lewis and Very.
The Double Stack XL is designed to cook food in four layers and features two drawers large enough to accommodate an entire chicken each. Unlike most of Ninja's iconic wide air fryers and grills, the Double Stack is narrower but taller, taking up 30% less space than an equivalent capacity air fryer while still fitting under standard kitchen cupboards.
Despite its compact size, the Double Stack boasts a 9.5 litre capacity, making it big enough to feed up to eight people – perfect for entertaining or larger families. It even offers six different modes including air fry, crisp, roast, bake, reheat and dehydrate, making it a versatile addition to any kitchen, reports the Mirror.
What’s more, both of the non-stick drawers can be controlled independently, so you can cook different food at the same time using different methods.
Weighing 10kg and coming in at 38.5cm high, 28cm wide and 47cm deep, the nifty gadget won’t take up too valuable countertop space and comes with two dishwasher safe drawers, two crisper plates, two stainless steel racks as well as a full recipe guide.
With an initial launch price of £269.99, shoppers can get a 10% off code for their first purchase when they sign up for email newsletters on Ninja, taking the price down to £243.
Following its launch, the Ninja Double Stack XL 9.5L Air Fryer SL400UK has proved a hit among customers, with one reviewer stating: “This is an absolute game changer for houses with different dietary requirements as you can contain meat/veggie to the separate drawers. It cooks so quickly and evenly and it is super easy to clean. I haven't used the oven since receiving it.”
A second fan raved: “Simply amazing, I haven't used my oven since I got this. Its simplicity of use is fantastic. I've done roast chicken and veggies, I've baked bread and muffins, I honestly think my oven will be completely redundant now. Being able to set the drawers for different times and temperatures and sync them is a game changer.”
Even a less positive review, which gave it four stars, described it as being “overall fab”, adding: “Loved it so far, cooking four different things at the same time is so handy. I do find it doesn't always cook stuff evenly, but half way through cooking time I give it a mix up and it's fine. I also find buying the parchment liners very handy, as at the back of the drawers are holes for the fan, unlike the standard dual ones.”
