Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, is off to Norway this week for a Royal visit. She's set to meet her godson, Haakon, who happens to be the Crown Prince of Norway. The pair are planning to tour Norway's Resistance Museum together after a stop at Vemork, the Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum in Rjukan.

Vemork, located just outside the town of Rjukan in Tinn Municipality in Telemark county, Norway, is a hydroelectric power plant turned museum. The Royal visit kicks off today (Tuesday, May 21) and will wrap up tomorrow, Wednesday, May 22.

It's thought that Queen Elizabeth's only daughter will swing by the museum around 1pm.

Norway's Resistance Museum, also known as the Norwegian Home Front Museum, is situated at the Akershus Fortress in Oslo. The museum showcases the Norwegian resistance during the Nazi Germany occupation from 1940 to 1945, with displays featuring equipment, photos and documents from the war years, reports the Mirror.

Crown Prince Haakon is next in line for the Norwegian throne. He's the only son of King Harald V and Queen Sonja and represents the fourth generation of the current Norwegian Royal family of the House of Glucksburg.

After her quick trip to Norway, Princess Anne is expected to head to the Hornet Services Sailing Club to celebrate its 60th anniversary. This is scheduled for Thursday, May 23, followed by the opening of the Army Offshore Sailing Centre at Haslar Road, Gosport in Hampshire.

The Royal Family's schedule suggests that the Princess will have a week or so off, before attending the Trinitytide Anniversary, Annual Court Meeting and Luncheon at Trinity House and St. Olave's Church in London.
