Everyone’s favourite affordable beauty brand has done it again, after launching a brand new cleansing balm that’s said to rival a major cult-favourite brand. The Revolution Pro Miracle Vegan Cleansing Balm, £15 here, has finally dropped online, and skincare lovers have already been going wild about the new launch.
After sharing the launch on social media, fans flooded the comments saying: “A copy of Elemis?” whilst another wrote: “I need a dupe for Elemis,” likening it to the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, £49 here, that’s a favourite amongst celebs like Molly-Mae Hague. Others have also been raving about the launch already, with one comment saying: “OMG!!! A CLEANSING BALM OH I NEED” and another adding, “Look at that buttery goodness.”
The new Revolution cleansing balm does indeed give the beloved Elemis balm a run for its money thanks to its creamy, buttery formula and skin-loving ingredients list. Made with vegan collagen that helps to hydrate and plump up your skin, it also contains a nourishing peptide complex and a blend of essential oils that help to calm your skin.
Its rich, silky formula transforms from a balm to a milk-like consistency that helps gently swipe away everything from SPF and excess oils to ultra-stubborn, setting-spray coated makeup. Oh, and it even comes with a cleansing cloth that you can use to buff away all traces of the balm after cleansing, leaving your skin feeling soft and hydrated.
It might be a new launch, but beauty fans have already been snapping up the cleanser – and leaving it glowing results. “Love this product, so much more affordable than others on the market and does the exact same job. Completely melts your makeup off and leaves your skin feeling so soft. Would definitely reccomend!!” said one, whilst another wrote: “A Gorgeous gentle cleanser which literally melts your makeup away! It doesn't irritate the eyes either which I love! Amazing dupe for the Elemis!”
Others also praised how easily it removed their makeup, with one writing: “This literally gets everything off including stubborn eye makeup. As it’s a balm my skin feels so moisturised and supple after! It’s not too overpowered by fragrance too so definitely works for sensitive skin too.”
If you have extremely sensitive skin, Nip + Fab’s Ceramide Fix Cleansing Balm, £16 here (was £20), not only removes makeup and impurities but is packed with a unique ceramide blend that helps restore and replenish dry, dehydrated and sensitive complexions. It also contains soothing squalane, bisabolol and prebiotics which help restore your skin’s protective barrier – perfect for damaged skin.
Just like Revolution’s new cleanser, it also comes with a soft muslin cloth to help remove the balm’s residue, leaving your skin feeling soft and hydrated. Fans of Revolution’s Pro Miracle line, however, will be keen to add the budget-friendly brand’s latest launch to their skincare routine.
The range includes everything you need for a glow-boosting, hydrating skincare routine, and its Pro Miracle Cream, £10 here, is also said to be an affordable alternative to another luxurious beauty buy – Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream, £79 here. Now that’s what we call celeb-inspired skincare on a budget!
