Stacey Solomon has been hit with criticism from fans who have labelled her latest home transformation at Pickle Cottage as 'pointless'.
The 34 year old showed off the makeover she gave to her greenhouse on Instagram as the Loose Women panellist gave it a new lease of life by painting the frames black and adding gorgeous décor inside.
In a video posted on her account, the mum-of-five - who is married to TV star Joe Swash - spruced up the glass house by clearing out cobwebs and adding lights, rugs and plants.
In the caption of her clip, Stacey confessed that it was one of the most challenging painting jobs she's ever tackled as the transformation took over a day to complete.
She wrote: "I DID IT! Brought Pickle Cottage Greenhouse Back To Life...30 hours in 30 seconds. Honestly, this was the hardest painting I've EVER done. But it was SO worth it. What do you think?
"This has been here since we moved in and we've grown our tomatoes in it but I was starting to hate going in there and I knew it could be so much more so I needed to sort it out! I can not even believe the before videos!."
Stacey continued: "I honestly am so happy with what a bit of paint (and hours and hours of time) can achieve! I can't wait to hide in here on a regular basis. "
However, a number of Stacey's social media followers were quick to question the appropriateness of her greenhouse usage, reports the Mirror. Some pointed out that greenhouses typically aren't used in this way while others cautioned her about potential overheating.
One fan weighed in on her unconventional choice commenting: "Sorry but that is not the point of a greenhouse Stacey. But your choice." Another sceptical follower quizzed: "Ummm have you thought this through! You can't sit in a greenhouse and also where are you going to plant everything!"
Adding more fuel to the debate, another added: "Mmmm its a greenhouse... Not sure I see the point of the chair; you'll be boiling. " A fourth commenter disagreed with her design choices as well: "I love what u do but that's not the purpose of a greenhouse."
Despite some critical comments, there were fans who appreciated her new approach. One supported her: "So beautiful to see someone upcycling something that still has lots of life left in it, rather than just chucking and buying new. How special."
