Susan Boyle looked almost unrecognisable as she walked the red carpet at The Pride of Scotland Awards at The Hilton Hotel in Glasgow last night (May 21).
The singer smiled for photographs and wore a stunning pale pink jumpsuit that was embellished with feather sleeves and paired it with silver accessories. Susan wore her hair in a sleek bob and opted for glowy make-up.
As many famous faces from music, sport and TV gathered to honour the nation’s inspirational unsung heroes at the awards, it was 63 year old Susan stole the show as she looked world's away from when she first shot to fame on Britain's Got Talent in 2009.
Speaking about the awards, according to the Daily Record, Susan said: "I feel so honoured to be here. This is an incredible evening celebrating extraordinary people who deserve special recognition. Anyone going above and beyond should be applauded.”
Also in attendance at the awards were Scottish Love Island stars Paige Turley, Anton Danyluk and and Laura Anderson, who looked amazing as they posed for photographers on the red carpet.
Laura, 35, opted for a striking red dress and debuted a new hairstyle as she showed off a fringe on the red carpet. The mum of one teamed her look with matching heels in the same colour.
Meanwhile, Paige - who appeared on season eight of Love Island - wore a black dress with an eye-catching cut-out detail. The 26 year old paired it with gold heels and a chic up-do hairstyle.
She reportedly said at the event: "It’s the most dazzling and meaningful night in the events calendar. There are so many famous faces but the real stars are the winners. To be able to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of ordinary folk who live just down the road from us all is very special.”
Laura then added: "Scots know how to throw a party and this is one of the biggest and the best. I feel privileged to be part of it and don’t want the night to end.”
Also seen making an appearance at the inspiring awards was Love Island season five's alum, Anton Danyluk who was suited and booted for the biggest night of the year. Anton was joined by his mum, Sherrie Ann, at the event who wore a white jacket and skirt.
