The X Factor's Ray Quinn is married! Fairytale castle wedding - hidden tributes, emotional vows and impromptu karaoke
EXCLUSIVE: The X Factor star Ray Quinn and his new wife Emily Fletcher share all the emotion and joy from their Champagne-themed nuptials in a magnificent castle

When musician Ray Quinn saw his stunning bride Emily Fletcher appear at the aisle at Peckforton Castle’s Great Hall, he felt for a moment as if they were the only two people in the room.
Watched by a sea of 70 smiling faces, Emily, 31, took her husband-to-be’s breath away as she approached him arm-in-arm with her dad Simon, accompanied by Coldplay’s A Sky Full Of Stars on piano.
“It was the moment I’d been waiting for,” an emotional Ray, 35, tells us when we catch up just a few days after their beautiful ceremony on Monday 2 October, covered exclusively by OK!.
“I caught sight of her and she looked absolutely amazing, I just burst into tears."
Here are all the details of their incredible day...
Ray continued, “All the emotion from the day, the night before and even the year we’d been planning the wedding, just hit me. I knew how Emily would’ve been feeling walking with her dad, it was overwhelming.”
Emily’s parents separated when she was a baby and she was brought up by Simon. “He’s like my best friend, he raised me from when I was a little girl,” she shares, “so it was very, very special that he walked me down the aisle.”

“I saw Ray and I didn’t take my eyes off him the whole way down the aisle,” Emily says, beaming. “I couldn’t believe I was about to marry the man of my dreams.”
Dance teacher Emily and X Factor finalist Ray met in 2017 and have created an incredibly tight blended family. As well as their one-year-old daughter Summer, they’re devoted parents to Harry, 11, from Ray’s previous relationship, and Lucian, 10, Emily’s son.

Built in around 1850, the impressive Grade 1 listed building is counted as one of the great buildings of its age, and much like Emily did to Ray on their wedding day – it took the couple’s breath away when they first saw it. “It really felt like a bit of us,” Ray tells us. “It’s so grand and magical. It’s like a Disney fairy-tale castle, such grandeur.”
3 of 21The couple picked the Castle’s Great Hall to host their ceremony, which has a stunning 10m-high vaulted ceiling and a large Victorian fireplace.
Emily, who describes the day as a “magical fairy tale” wore an ivory open-back mermaid dress with delicate glittering lace by Stella York, which she paired with Lipsy diamanté sandals, simple diamond pearldrop earrings and a long cathedral veil.
4 of 21For her beautiful bouquet, she chose cream roses, spray roses, and pretty ranunculus.
When it came to her make-up, she did her own “natural, smokey eye” during her “chilled” morning, leaving the professional make-up artist to tend to her six bridesmaids – younger sister Taylor, best friend and cousin Elise, Ray’s nieces Lucy and Ruby, and her own cousins Poppy and Eve, who wore satin dresses and each held a single cream rose.
